How long does it take to dry a full head of hair?

The VOLO Go uses infrared heat technology to thoroughly dry hair from the inside out. Not only is this healthier for hair in the long term, but it also allows for a faster style time.

Across various lengths, styles and textures, drying a full head of hair does not generally take as long as one might think. Based off our study, the average dry time is approximately 7.5 minutes to go from wet to dry. Since the VOLO Go lasts around 14 minutes per charge, we’ve got most heads of hair covered! Who is the VOLO Go cordless hair dryer for?

The VOLO Go is for people who are active, efficient, and busy. It’s for women who want to style their hair and get things done at the same time. You need the right tool for the job, and if you’re looking to save time and avoid hair damage, this is the right choice.

Dry your hair as you start a load of laundry, select the most badass outfit or let the dog out. Or, better yet, take the dog on a walk. You’ll probably get envious looks from anyone who can’t dry their hair and multitask. But hey, let them be tied to their cords-- You were the smart one who invested in a cordless dryer. If you work on a set and do touch-ups, this is the perfect dryer for you. If you love to do yoga but your hair doesn’t...you can use the VOLO Go in the car or studio. Whatever you prefer. You can use it anywhere.

Who is the VOLO Go not for?

We believe in transparency and our goal is for you to be as obsessed with the product as we are. The VOLO Go will not be perfect for every situation.

For example, the first version of the model is not suited for extremely long blowouts. If you are looking for a tool to perform a Brazilian blow dry, this is not the right dryer for you. However, it is perfect for rough dries, touch ups and on-set work. Session stylists will LOVE the VOLO Go.

Our cordless dryer is also ideal for home users who love to rough dry their hair, and don't like to spend hours with a hairdryer (again, the average dry time is 7.5 minutes so, luckily, most women should fall into this category!).

The VOLO Go is an incredible product that will allow for less damage and less time wasted, and we know it will satisfy the hair-care needs of countless people.

I have a big head of hair! Can I still use the dryer?

Yes. Extra batteries will be available for purchase. In addition, we suggest using a microfiber hair towel to cut around 30% of your dry time down. Keep an eye out for more information on our towel in the next few weeks!

I’m concerned about the battery life. Is there anything I can do to extend it?

Our cordless dryer uses lithium-ion batteries, which are extremely efficient and cutting-edge. Most women will be able to completely blow dry a full head of hair within one charge cycle. Additionally, extra batteries will be available for purchase if for any reason you need extended time!

Keep in mind, infrared dries hair faster than your conventional dryer so your dry time may be different with the VOLO Go than with typical dryers.

We have also designed products that compliment our cordless dryer to further decrease the time it takes to style hair and we can't wait to tell you more. When we realized a hair towel would be the perfect pairing with our cordless hair dryer, we knew we had to create our own. Our microfiber towel is extremely soft and absorbent to help minimize dry time and preserve hair health as much as possible.
