Her work has taken her across the country as well as through Europe. Lately, she’s been focusing on blogging. We had the opportunity to chat and learn about Evelyne's hair journey. Check it out below!

Tell us a little bit about you?

Basically, I’m a fashion designer. I love fashion. I’ve been involved with the fashion industry for over 8 years. A year ago, I decided to start my own Instagram, fashion Instagram and youtube channel. I’ve been focusing on blogging. It’s important to have knowledge in both areas. Working with photographers in London.

What is your every day or go to hairstyle?

I normally have it straight. My hair is naturally straight. Right after I shower, I’ll blow dry it and it stays straight.

Have you ever tried any drastic or out-of-character hairstyles?

When I have to go to fashion shows or events, more fashion-forward things, I’ll do a big braid or high pony.

What is one non-negotiable part of your hair-care or styling routine?

I never go out with my hair wet. I don’t like looking at other people with wet hair, they look like they didn’t finish getting ready. I can’t leave my house without having my hair ready.

What is your favorite hair-care secret to gorgeous hair? (Ex - using hair masks, curling hair with a straightener, putting hair up in a microfiber towel, etc.)

I use two or three products that have keratin. I feel like that really helps my hair. One of them is it’s a 10. I really like that product, especially for dyed hair.

Who is your hair inspiration or hair goals? Why?

A blogger whose hair I love is Camila Coelho. She has short dark hair and it’s really pretty. I love Camila Coelho, I love her style and her hair. She is one of my hair goals.

If you could magically change your hair to any length and color for one day, what would your dream hair look like?

I don’t know maybe light pink, like a white pink. I would have it super short with that color. I’ve had my hair all different lengths and colors but I don’t think I would ever go that short [IRL].

What are you most proud of about your hair?

I dye my hair because my natural color is more dark brown. I’ve been dying it more of a blondish color, but it’s still in good condition and it’s super healthy. I use a hair mask at least once a month. My best friend is a hair stylist so he is always hooking me up with products for my hair. I started dying my hair 6 or 7 years ago and it’s still really healthy. Last year, I did the trendy grey color. And after that, I did a blueish pastel color on the ends of my hair. You have to be careful about switching the color because you don’t want to damage your hair. Hair stylists will tell me how good my hair looks even though I’ve done so much with it and I’m really lucky it’s still so healthy.

How did you figure out what haircut/color is most flattering for you?

I would say I noticed when I was in high school or middle school when I used to have dark brown hair. I remember the first color I dyed my hair was black because it’s close to dark brown. A year after I did some blonde highlights on my hair, and people told me my hair looked really good with highlights. They said that I looked older with black hair. People in the beauty industry also said I should go with lighter hair instead of darker hair. I love it, I haven’t changed it a lot. I would never go back to black or dark brown.

If you had to pick one quote or short piece advice to promote hair confidence and acceptance, what would it be?

If you love your hair everyone else is gonna love it, but you have to love it first before anyone else does.
