Two years ago, engineer Jonathan Friedman and third-generation beauty supplier Ryan Goldman set out to bridge the gap between beauty and tech. They put their heads together and came up with an idea to shake up the beauty industry—a cordless, rechargeable hair dryer. They named it Volo, Italian for “flight.”
